A special Sunday Matinee for 'the Johnny Cash Story' at Panthers Club, 6th August 2017 at 2pm drew an audience of nearly 400 people despite there being a home game at the club that afternoon! A lot of smiling faces after the show..

Sat August 5 @ 8:00 pm $10.00 Members | $15.00 Visitors
The show which strings together all Cash’s greatest hits and signature tunes, brought his fascinating, larger-than-life story to Blacktown and was warmly received to a near capacity audience. who hooted and hollered to his enduring hits such as Folsom Prison Blues, Ring of Fire, Get Rhythm, I Walk the Line – and some of the lesser known but just as unique songs in the Johnny Cash repertoire. Woven through this rich musical journey is a fascinating glimpse into the darker side of his life, his drug taking, outlaw image and the Prison Concerts, and his epic, redeeming love story with lifetime soul mate June Carter, in her own right a child star of the famous country music icons ‘the Carter Family’.

Images from the second performance of the Australian Johnny Cash Tribute Show at the Byron Bay Community Centre Theatre. The show was a sell out and we had to turn away 50 people! A very warm reception from the Byron Bay crowd. Byron Bay Community Centre is theatre in the round which posed challenges for staging the show but its a great venue and we had fabulous support from Juan the resident sound man. Video was shot by Andy McGlone.
